In July 2012, the Île de France region lent its support to the implementation of the "Au fil de l'Eau" project, Vert Chez Vous's multimodal distribution model in Paris. This support is part of the Regional Plan for Sustainable Mobility, which aims to support experiments designed to improve the performance of last-mile logistics chains. The Region is aiming to cut overall CO2 emissions by 37% by reducing heavy goods vehicle traffic by 450,000 km per year: the ultimate objective is to reduce the number of hours spent on the Paris region road network by 14,000.
